Wishart attends opening event at Enchanted Forest

Pete Wishart, MP for Perth and North Perthshire, attended the opening event of the Enchanted Forest, where he spoke with organisers about the huge feat that it took to bring the event to fruition after a 3-year hiatus due to Covid.

Commenting, Mr Wishart said:

“It was a pleasure to attend the opening night at Pitlochry’s acclaimed Enchanted Forest. This year’s theme, Together, felt most fitting after the event had to be cancelled for the last 2 years due to Covid restrictions.

“It truly is a spectacle for all ages, unlike anything else in the UK. Each year it becomes even bigger and more immersive, and is now an invaluable asset to the local economy.

“They are expecting to welcome over 80,000 visitors over the next 5 weeks, which is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work of everybody involved.”
