WISHART WELCOMES GRANTS FOR YOUTH GROUPS AND SPORTS CLUBS
Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire, has welcomed the announcement that four groups in his constituency have recently been successful in securing a total of £32,250worth of funding from Awards for All Scotland.
Mr Wishart said:
“The 3rd Perthshire Scone Scout Group, and the Coupar Angus Youth Activities Group both received grants at or near the £10,000 maximum which Awards for All Scotland can make and both grants will used to improve and develop the buildings these fantastic organisations use to support the great work they do with local young people.
“The other two awards will see local sporting organisations improving their facilities with Tay Rowing Club receiving funding to purchase equipment suitable for use by people learning to row and Aberfeldy Rugby Football Club getting financial support for two team shelters and a storage container.
“Many congratulations to everyone involved in all four organisations in securing these significant grant awards.”
