WISHART WELCOMES INSURERS REPORT

Perth and North Perthshire MP, Pete Wishart has welcomed the publication of a report by the Association of British Insurers which gives advice on how to deal with flooding.

The report gives advice on all aspects of flooding; including how to minimise risk, what to do if you are flooded and what to expect from your insurer if such an incident should occur.

Speaking about the report, Mr Wishart said:

“I welcome this report from the Association of British Insurers which gives detailed guidance on what to do if you find yourself the victim of flooding. When flooding occurs it is important that all parties involved know what to expect and this report goes someway to explaining what people should expect of their insurer.

“I have been provided with extra copies for constituents and these can be sent out to anyone who wishes to have one handy in case the worst should happen.”
