The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire has welcomed the announcement by Awards for All Scotland that three organisations within his constituency have, between them, been successful in securing a total of £28,500 in funding.
Mr Wishart said:
“I am sure that everyone involved with Perth & Kinross Countryside Trust, the Ericht Trust and Forward Coupar Angus will be delighted to have learned that, between them, they have been awarded £30,000 in Awards from All grants from the Big Lottery Fund.
“The money secured will go towards three interesting and positive projects.
“PKCT are working with landowners, the community council and Mount Blair Development Trust to create a series of four new way markers paths in the countryside surrounding Kirkmichael. The Ericht Trust will use the funding to carry out a preliminary assessments into the development of a new Community, Heritage and Cultural Centre while Forward Coupar Angus are planning to stage a cycling festival in the town in July 2015.
