WISHART WELCOMES LOTTERY FUNDING FOR EIGHT LOCAL GROUPS

The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP,  Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire has welcomed the news that 8 groups in his constituency have recently been successful in applying to Awards for All Scotland, securing a total of £59,872 worth of funding.

Mr Wishart said:

“I am delighted that so many local groups have been successful in securing nearly £60,000 of Lottery funding in the most recent announcement from Awards for All Scotland.

“From Primary Schools to Table Tennis Clubs and boat trailers to food vans this is a diverse group of applicants and projects but the thing they have in common is that they are all involved in making their local communities better places to live in one way or another.

“Many congratulations to all of the successful applicants."
