WISHART EXPRESSES CONDOLENCES TO FAMILIES OF MEN KILLED IN A9 COLLISION
The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire, has expressed his condolences to the families of two men who died following a collision on the A9 near Dunkeld yesterday evening.
Speaking today (Friday) Mr Wishart said:
“I was very sorry indeed to hear the sad news that a collision which took place near Dunkeld yesterday resulted in two deaths.
“The closure of both north and south bound carriageways for a number of hours will have caused a huge amount of disruption to many folk in the local area and beyond but that is, of course, as nothing compared to the lasting effect on those who have been bereaved.
“I want to express my sincere condolences to those close to the two men who died and I know that this must be a very difficult time indeed for them.”
