WISHART CONGRATULATES PERTHSHIRE AMBER ON TENTH ANNIVERSARY
The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart will be attending a reception and concert at the Perth Concert Hall this evening, Friday October 31st 2014 from 6.30pm in which Dougie MacLean will be appearing with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
Speaking ahead of the event, Mr Wishart praised Mr MacLean and everyone involved with the Perthshire Amber festival on the continuing and growing success of an event that has become an absolute fixture in the local and national events calendar. Mr Wishart said:
“I am delighted to congratulate Dougie and everyone else associated with Perthshire Amber on the massive success that they have achieved with Perthshire Amber and particularly on celebrating their 10 anniversary, a significant milestone.
“There can be absolutely no doubt that Perthshire Amber has become a firm favourite with music lovers in Scotland and does a fantastic job of attracting visitors to Perthshire at this time of year. I am looking forward to this evening’s concert and I wish everyone involved with the festival all the very best in taking Perthshire Amber forward into its second decade.”
