WARM WELCOME FROM WISHART FOR LOCAL LOTTERY FUND SUCCESS

The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire, is delighted to be able to congratulate two local groups in his constituency that have recently been successful in applying to Awards for All, securing a total of £18,700 worth offunding. CheckIn Works has received a £8,700 Awards for All grant for a project which will involve a team of volunteers made up from service users who will develop and manage an underused wall garden. Blackwater Public Hall has received a £10,000 Awards for All grant to upgrade their existing disabled toilets and shower room. Welcoming the awards, Mr Wishart said: “Congratulations to everyone involved with both CheckIn Work and the Blackwater Public Hall for securing the lottery funding they have applied for. “I know that the money will be put to very good use indeed and I am sure that the development of facilities that will be funded by these awards will be of great benefit to both groups in improving the services that they have on offer.”
