WISHART OPENS YOUTH PROJECT’S ANNIVERSARY EVENT

The Scottish National Party’s Mr Pete Wishart MP, Member of Parliament for Perth & North Perthshire, today (Monday) performed the official opening for an event to celebrate the one year anniversary of Perth YMCA’s ‘The Living Balance Project’

‘Living Balance - One Year On…’   took place at the Perth Playhouse Cinema, running from 14.00 until 15.00.

Speaking in advance of the event, Mr Wishart said:

“Having opened the launch event in June last year it is great to have the opportunity to perform the same role again today and to join with everyone involved in celebrating the one year anniversary of this project.

“The project aims to provide support to vulnerable young people aged 14 and over, helping them to achieve better employment outcomes and a stable independent lifestyle.

“Those are very worthwhile objectives indeed and I am really looking forward to learning more about what has been achieved over the last year and to take the opportunity to speak with the young people and project partners involved.”
